A mix of different fire colours would go so well with the eye colour, the expression the body posture just say fire to me.
Love the wip, I bet the finished drawing will be amazing!

I like the idea of keeping this character white, but perhaps you could also use some red highlights. For example, the tips of the frills on the cheeks be made red, as well as the tip of the tail and ears.
