So Kaido, Lancer, Sandra, Umbra, and Mila were all experimented on in the facility, there were 5 different sections, and I'll explain each of their experiences when I get there, but here are what the Areas are.

Area 1 is the place for the weakest (Kaido) to stay while they get stronger from the experiments. Though kids like Kaido has a limited time to get that strength up before they were euthanized for being too weak.

Area 2 is for the now mindless beasts that are soon sent to Area 5 so they can fight. These are usually the ones to unfortunately pass in battle.

Area 3 is for the stronger experiments (Lancer, Sandra) to stay while they work up that last little bit of strength they need before they're sent to Area 5.

Area 4 is for the newest kids, or as the scientists see them, assets. Area 4 is a place newcomers stay until they're placed somewhere else depending on their strength.

Area 5, the arena, is where the strongest of the strong experiments (Umbra, Mila) are forced to fight, the scientists say they use the info from the battles for good causes, though they only use it to make more monsters out of the kids they've "adopted" and imprisoned.

All the kids that are taken into this place are all either adoptable children, runaways, or in extremely rare cases, kidnapped for their power. And all of them only escaped because the place blew up, lots passed, but lots also got out after.
