New year coming by Peripheral_Pillar

Does the clock rolling over really help people feel like they should change? It isn't impossible, but how many hzve the will power?

(sugarskulllz/plutoes here, hiya)

This is so real.
I've stopped making resolutions because of the mild disappointment I feel after breaking them yk. Like I hate making promises I won't keep. When you can't even keep promises made to yourself what does that say about you??

i stopped making resilutions years ago. if you wanna change or improve on how you do things why wait for a new year. if you want to actually change/improve ect do it whenever you dont have to wait for a certain time.

@halftruths @Miss_Harley_Quinn I can see the start of a new year as a runner uses the start of the race to begin counting the time it takes them to run. But it takes a lot of effort to change something big about yourself.

Just as an example, try clapping your hands six times when you wake up each day for the next year. Most people wouldn't be able to follow through with something that minimal.
