@-DRACO-MALFOY- sorry for the late response! here's a rundown on what Chao are:
Chao are these little monster creatures from the Sonic the Hedgehog series - they look a little different than how I usually draw them, but still!
In Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, you basically can raise them -- they can evolve, and can take on many forms, and have different types & alignments.
the characters featured here are based off of two specific chao evolutions:
-for the gray & purple character, she is based off of the Dark / Chaos type Chao!
-for the orange character, he is based off of the Dark / Fly type Chao!
back on Flipnote Hatena, an app for the DSi, which lasted from 2008-2013, it was commonplace to have a Chao character, and most of them had a similar, 'chibi' art style to them.
