@SugarSkulllz@Miss_Harley_Quinn I don't even get to sleep without more problems showing up. It was 11:00 PM and I had gone to bed earlier because I have so much to try and do tomorrow. Instead I hear lots of loud thumps and yelling. My neighbors' ex-fiance was yelling at her and trying to kick in her door and she was yelling back from the other side of the door. They woke the entire apartment. I had to scare him off, then she continued yelling because his kicks had damaged the door to the ~
~ point that it was jammed shut and she couldn't get out. Had to help her figure out how to get out and secure her window so she could go to her friend's house. Her ex-fiance continued to drive by the apartment for a while and I'm just now getting to get back in bed. Pulled my back and have lots of work during the Holiday rush waiting for me tomorrow/today while having to wonder how much time I should devote to being vigilant each day for the next several weeks.
I applaud you so hard for helping your neighbor. That was very kind of you, I know some people wouldn't have done the same and i'm sorry you're under so much stress right now. I've never worked a real job so I don't know exactly how stressful the holiday rush is but it sounds like a lot to deal with. Do you have ways of destressing after you get home from work??
it was so very kind of you to help your neighboor most other people would just litsen through the wall and talk to other people about it the next day. holiday rushes are so stressful and tireing. i also have the same question as @/SugarSkulllz. also when your trying to get to sleep and relax have you tried breathing exercises or for me writing down how i feel helps im not to sure if it will help others but it helps me.
@SantaSkulllz@Miss_Harley_Quinn Recently the only destressing I have had has been sleep. Since the holiday season has begun I have been doing drastic amounts of extra work to try and make sure that all the sales are good and things are in usable order. I can only claim to work 40 hours a week, but I know that this past week has probably gone over 80 and it has been over 60 for the weeks preceding this. By the time I get home I eat, prepare for the next day so I can get to work too early, and ~
~ then sleep. Once this holiday period is over things will calm down some, but I am needing to see good results from my work so I am not demotivated to do anything else in the future or even quit. I do want my job, but it pays insultingly low. But so far I have been doing all I can to drive up sales and no one has been "let go" because the store wasn't earning enough money. And as for my neighbor, her door is still broken, and I keep seeing the ex-fiance's truck parked outside. He's doing a ~
~ poor job if he is trying to come after me cause he isn't even 1% subtle enough to catch me off guard and I've been able to take pictures of his license plate and truck's VIN # and other things to make sure that I am in no danger. But I am wondering if him and her "made up" and are now living together in an apartment with a broken door.
I feel like there are laws on how much jobs are able to give you overtime and this seems wayy over what should be going on, they are working you to the bone :[ I hope you were at least able to enjoy your Christmas. I can't think of any solutions to your problems other than informing the police of the man so obviously stalking you and just persevering through this season. They better promote you soon for sure.
