It's an old colors tradition I suppose.
So basically, it's like playing tag, but with art. One person starts it by drawing themself with a Christmas present. Then they tag others to do the same.
If you get tagged, then you draw a present and tag other artists for them to participate.
Check the tags #PTP #PTP23 & #PassThePresent if you want to see what others have done. It might make more sense.
Only if you want to do it though. There's no obligation to participate
