I had been thinking about this piece for a while for the contest, but looking at all of the #inthewoods paintings by @Marlee9910 at once really got me in the mood!

@Lilloo I am not sure why but I find cats quite difficult to draw. But I might take on the challenge at some point. In theory they are furry critters like others. But with very familiar furry critters we tend to impose our mental construction on what we are seeing, which throws off the process.
Of course, I suppose I could just draw it upside down then flip it, which tends to help. My daughter does pet portraits and likes using that technique at times.

@sableplays66 I have two dragons and a rather dragon inspired conception of leviathan in my gallery if you look down a bit. Though perhaps dragon fans wouldn't like the one where it is on the menu for dwarves.
I am workng on another dragon piece, but only occasionally. I am not sure I can get it to look the way I want. And I have another scene in my head with a dragon that I have made a couple of attempts at, and it has failed so far. But perhaps in the future....
