Learning to control my temper was a major turning point in my life. I'm very glad to see you are willing to do so as well. : ) It wasn't easy, but it was worth it.
I find digital art to be a lot of fun. It's very relaxing and thereputic. I hope you come to enjoy it a lot as well. : )
If you'd like, I could you some pointers on either of these topics.
@Ang3lWithASh0tgun Alright, cool. I guess to begin with, here's a few things that helped me learn to temper myself: Emotions were meant to be felt. Aquaint yourself with them, especially anger. Learn to recognize them whenever they surface. Learn to work with them as your partner, not you master. This is a learned experience, so it's up to you from there. It'll take time, but you can indeed take control of your life. It does help to remember that other people are also prone to mistakes.
If someone is provoking you to anger, strive to choose forgiveness first. This is something I'm still working on myself. There are some people in my life that frustrate me to no end. However, rather than lash out on the spot, hold your peace. Think about what you should say. You might run it through these filters: Is it necessary?, is it true?, is it kind? Wait until you're level headed again, then say what needs to be said.
It's a bit much, but I think this is a good start.
