Pretty cool.
I learned that you can get a cool effect with the stars if you use the select/move tool. Jut add a few stars dotted around an area, copy that layer to another layer, use select/move to adjust size, rotation, and position of the copied layer stars to a random spot somewhere else, then merge the layers together again. repeat that randomely until the screen is filled with clusters of stars varying in size and position all throughout. That's how I did mine.
