I've just know that waterlily and lotus are different. We usually call them the same "teratai".

@Ssimply-sparkly use bristle brush.. And then bam here and there and strokes and voilà...:D

I think it would be cool if you tell us what you call objects in your native language, through the still-life you paint like this. If you're up for it that is.
I don't have any experience in water color painting yet, but it's something I do want to learn some day. It's a very soft and soothing form of paint.
