According to the Abyss storyline of cards, this monster was made due to "Springans Captain Sargas" and Therion "King" Regulus were so in sync during their fight in the Therion's colissuem that they merge. As a Gladiator Beast player, that sheds a single tear of admiration.

@LooneyWizard thats tempting especiallysince that monsyer has a high res summon animation in master duel that I can extract the assets, but Ive already fulfilled my quota on cards relating to an overarching storyline with the Abyss storyline with Sargas.
