Apparently it's really an uncertain to the devs for whether or not the online gallery will be affected by the shutdown

Yeah the 3Ds is more comfortable to draw on

I mainly use Switch though since I rely on the tools too much

But! Maybe this a good change of pace for me... I'll be forced to move out of my comfort zone to try something new.

Whether I move to the Switch version or go somewhere else entirely, I'm not sure yet... But I'll figure something out.

I'll never get tired of 3DS drawings. The only thing I have about it, is the low resolution options available. Switch is a bit higher, but still not as high as I'd like to have as an option. Still even 3DS suits my basic needs. Anything higher than screen resolution is just for epic (over sized) projects.

Still, I do hope Colors3D stays around. I'd be sad to see so many of my favorite 3D artists be denied a place to share their masterpieces.

If the online gallery for the 3DS shuts down I won't be able to post here anymore unfortunately. ^-^'

I sure hope it all works out, I'll miss this place if I can't keep logging on here ;^;

@unaone the tools on the switch are pretty cool! but I want a different kind of stylus to work with, maybe a wireless one with a different kind of nib, like the ones used for tablets! :0 I like the feel of the stylus for ds systems! :3

@mewsea something new? :D I tried drawing on the switch a few times, I'm just not very fond of the stylus. '.___. so I drew with my finger and it gets frustrating.

@the_adjudicator Suprisingly the qaulity of the art on 3ds is pretty nice! I can get the images from my sd card into my computer and the images can be huge!! but I do notice the nice quality of the switch art pieces too and I really like the smoother feeling to it! :D I hope that those who prefer drawing on 3ds will be able to continue to do so in the future!! ; v ; or maybe a new stylus for switch version? the biggest problem for me is the sonar pen.

@kuroneko-productions and @prometheus yeah, I hope I'm just being paranoid and that it's still possible to post art in the future. ; - ;

idk what's gonna happen :/ i love colors gallery, but i don't think i'll be getting colors for nintendo switch, i don really like the touch screen there :( I guess i'll try some other alternatives if colors gallery is finally closed for 3ds users, such as IbisPaint
