It's funny when you think about it, the weather gets cooler in the northern hemisphere, but the colors get warmer.
Why do you think the leaves turn yellow and red in the Autumn?

The_Adjudicator It’s simple : the leaves no longer produce chlorophyll and many other colors besides green come out. The poetic reason is : in autumn they are cold and wear a warm red or orange sweater
