I know what you mean hun, people are into popular things or people and never look at the good general art, furries are one the few fantastic things that dont get loved, believe me.

try drawing naked anime girls or ponies or notebook paper with scribbly writing if you want stars that's what this comunity likes nobody on here can appreciate good art work and like someone mentioned up above with all this stop tracing epidemic it makes it hard to be noticed. just keep your head up and don't let it get to you sometimes it's not about the likes it's about drawing and having fun with it

Did a stick figure really get 1000 likes? And the timing that you post makes a lot of difference. Also boldness, like in color contrast or big words that grab someone's attention who's scrolling quickly. For example, this pick has a lot of contrast being split as it is, so it would grab more attention than either pic on its own. Plus, I've noticed that any kind of commentary is popular. Hmmm...I'm sure there's a way to make people check new paintings more regularly...

You have a good point... People don't seem to appreciate beautiful art as much. Well, i guess eye is in the beholder :(

Why would you like a STICK MAN?! It's insane! Even I didn't think people lacked THAT much taste! I know idzactly what you mean. I see top of the line artists get only a silver star, if that, and its just a no brainer!
