your code on friend list, go to the smiley face on the home menu, go to ur mii, look at the top screen and u'll see a set of numbers under ur mii, that's ur friend code

Okay just stop right there. Art isn't an excuse to just show off your friend code without people hating on you. This place isn't even about the 3DS, let alone sharing friend codes. Mabye it is downloaded for 3DS but this entire app is solely for ART. Nothing else.

i agree with this very much. or draw a picture and leave the writing for the writing areas like in the comments area. and those text message things and just writing with no picture is a waste of space. i dont care if its **** or traced or whatever. but as long as they give it a try. so the people the did spend hours and hours drawing actually have a chance at getting there picture seen. without being rushed through coz 20 flooded it with the're one word 2 second peices of ****. its really simple. paintings go in the paintings area, comments go in the comments area. good job on getting your point across with style. well done.

Friend codes spam the gallery and put you off. They come accross as a bad artist who is desprate for friends. An id with a Mii, websites your're on, friend code and some funny stats will make you a good artist who wants friends. You won't come as desprate.

I can see looking at your work[or should i say maasterpeeice] that you have high standards, but please like and comment my work, it'll be an enormous honor for a newbie like me :]

I went another step further and turned figuring put my friend code into a challenge where it is written in my made up alphebet and I left the symbols for 1-9 in nine other pictures. One person figured it out so far. It keeps random people from getting you FC (if you care), and it also gets them to look at more of you drawings!

This tutorial is awesome! Friendcodes can get lots of likes if they're done in a creative way.

hey love the non 3d 3d look to your art. im gonna try and redo my fc thanks for the tips.

You might also want to suggest that people write profile descriptions/info in post descriptions (important to give age), this increases likelyhood of success. Also delete old FC/friend requests as many people think that having multiple posts makes you look desperate or pathetic (I've seen lots of comments like to that effect)

ugh i still see people posting friendcodes with no art on them. i only know of 3 people who did it
