Thank you very much! It took me a long time to develop the style I currently have but I mostly use the sketch brush to do lineart so it can go very small to add extra lines, watching speedpaints on how people draw things help a lot (Such as mlp/backgrounds,etc) also the fill tool helps with shading so u would use black and then lower opacity to however strong u want the shading to be. Some small random lines such as on walls help provide the illusion of detail. Hope this helps!

How I draw hair is usually I draw the strand of hair and then fill the inside with lines that flow in the same direction except a little smaller with opacity slightly lowered so that when u colour it, the lines are sort of see-through for the colour to get through. So when u draw curly hair, practice that with the hair, well basically curling. Maybe use some sketch references for help on what it looks like on the internet!

Another way to shade to enhance the way I do it is to add something I call "A Shade layer" which uses a base colour, lowers the opacity, uses the fill tool to do the advanced shading on another layer, then places the advanced shading layer under the shade later, above your colours and lineart for them to blend together with the background or whatever lighting you need.
