Also to answer your questions:
1) Sally's a chipmunk.
2) Sally is the princess of the Kingdom of Acorn and leader of the Freedom Fighters.
3) Sally was pretty much a Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal at first. When the Archie comics rebooted in 2013, Sally was given a more game-esque design with a more modest outfit.
God, I miss Archie Sonic.
