... Days turned into weeks, and their joy soon turned to sorrow as the children fell ill, their bodies weakened by fever.
Overwhelmed with guilt, Ween come to village chief, he seeks redemption by sacrificing himself, offering his body to be burned, a selfless act of purification to lift the curse he had unknowingly unleashed.
Grateful for Ween's honesty and remorse, the village agreed. Tears mingled with joyful smiles as they bid farewell to their beloved scarecrow, Ween's ashes merged with the fertile earth.
From that day onwards, to commemorate Ween, once a year at the end of the harvest month the villagers gather, building a giant bonfire, and burn a replica of Ween as a symbol of purification and renewal. As the flames rise, the villagers release their sorrow and gratitude, hoping that Ween's sacrifice will bring healing and fertility to their village.

Great string of posts telling the continuous story. Really cool idea, and nicely executed

Am I a bad person for thinking this ending is funny? I honestoy was expecting something a bit more sinister like Ween disappearing into the night with the kids. This is honestly more wholesome than what I might have done.
Great work.
(after reading the moral of the story) Uh oh! I better change my sleep schedule.

@The_Adjudicator nope i just want to ended it quickly, lol no need season 12. Ya I'm adjust it to be more folklore-ish and family friendly for any age. But in fact (imo) many children- i mean users here in the gallery is prefer for gore, emo, dark story (kind of rebels phase)

@mcollins thanks, I've been doing this for years here but never write the narrative properly and tends to leave it up to audience's imagination
