As strange, coloured smoke filled the room, A poor hybrid yelled out in pain, fear and sorrow as her companion and close friend was swallowed by black ink-like tendrils, their body dissapearing from veiw. The hybrid coughed, blacking out.

The hybrid looks around. there were others in the beds too, just like her, and was the first awake other then the ones around her bed. -cont-

The one speaking was a friendly-looking yet visibly exhausted rabbit.
Opal: Now that you are awake, I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Opal. Once you feel better, the others will introduce themselves too. Rest up now, okay?
The rabbit along with the rest of the group walked off, And the hybrid soon fell asleep, unable to get the scene of her close friend's death out of her head.
(yes, characters can die from over-exposure of being exposed to a strong burst of the smoke.)
