i just watched Elemental for the first time! it was pretty cute! the only thing i didnt like about it was the beginning of it was kinda a knock-off, of Mary and Joseph when they went to Bethlehem, and i didn't like that, but the rest was pretty cute!

If I understand correctly, they wanted that scene to be an allegory of immigration and how immigrants are seen by the locals of a different region. So they used the Biblical narative as a familiar basis to their own nerative.
You're free to feel how you would about that, but as for me, it shows they recognize the significance of that story, and I'm glad they used it to tell a beautiful story of acceptance, and finding ways to cooperate despite our differencs.

thats how i watch almost all my movies, i only been to the theaters 3 times in my whole life! to see, penguins of madagascar, Jurassic world fallen kingdom, and my mom wanted to see vaxxed
