i think a huge problem ai (in general) has rn is how copyright laws are incredibly flimsy in regards to using ai, cuz like. ofc its wrong & against copyright/plagiarism laws if you KNOW an ai program scraped ur art to feed its algorithms, but... a lot of times its extremely difficult to prove ur art was actually stolen for the program unless theres some way to reverse engineer it
its a huuuge legal gray area right now, i MIGHT be a little more on board with it if ai bros stopped stealing ppl's art to pump out ""masterpieces"", cuz. i do think ai could be used for good things. for example, iirc theres an ai tool being worked on for... blender 3d's grease pencil tool i think (aka, 2d animation) that helps you fill in the colors of ur inbetween frames of ur animation as long as u fill in the keyframes and i think stuff that actually assists artists/speeds up tedious processes like that is Awesome, & i wish ai was used for stuff like that :(

i really do hope in the future (sooner rather than later) there can be laws/regulations on ai art n writing n voice programs and sh't so that ppl stop getting their stuff stolen and that ai bros cant get away with saying they made it themselves/get knocked off their high horses >:/
