The scarves can be any color, but the symbols show the rank/responsibility of the Freedom Fighter.
(These designs are only for my OCS, as well as other people's OCS put into my AU, not for just anyone)

A sword means a Fighter, someone who goes on the usual small and medium missions, from something small like a robbery, or something slightly bigger like a basic attack from Eggman's robots.

A plus means a Medic, someone who'll stay behind at the Freedom Fighter base's medical center. Helping the injured members recover.

The extra details on the Chaos Emerald symbol mean a leader, someone who's more advanced than other members. (Sonic, Emerald, etc.) It can also be used on the other scarves, not counting the apprentice one. Meaning either an leading fighter or a leading medic, depending on which one the details go on.

And a Emerald Shard symbol means an apprentice. Someone between the age of 10-12 still learning how to be a Freedom Fighter.

@my_life_sucks this is a concept I made up for my OCS in my stories and other people's characters that were put into this AU, so I'd prefer if you'd not. But you're more than welcome to make a Sonic OC and tag me in their ref so I can put them in the AU.
