The planet Molar is farther from its sun than we are from ours, making Molar colder than Earth. Because of this, Molarians have copper in their blood, making it thicker and blue, and allowing them to survive sub 0 temps.

Faeries are real and are the dominant species. True faeries are blue shapeshifters with 2 faces that they cannot shapeshift away.
False faeries, or elves, are molarian children raised by true faeries. As they grow, they learn Fae magick-

Several times, molarians have tried to fight the Fae, hoping to take the land for themselves. These are referred to as "Fae wars" and the Fae always win, leaving devastated and abandoned cities behind.

almost a year of research and worldbuilding went into making Molar and my characters, so there's a lot to unpack.
I'll try to summarize everything else.

Continents:
Sient: shaped like a fish. Devastation covers all. Earthquakes have levelled almost everything and suvivors struggle to adapt.

Dojen: shaped like a bird. Almost entirely forest. the language Dojish has 6 genders.

Bastel: shaped like the tail of Dojen. Very metropolitan. the language Bastian has 3 genders.

Atep: kinda shaped like a hammer. Very mountainous with flower filled valleys. Inhabitants value stories and are very social.

Pyir: kinda looks like a banana. While very technologically advanced, the language Pyirsh is the simplest and closest to the first language. Pyirsh only has "it" as a pronoun.

******: looks like a wheelbarrow. Full of marshes and plains. the language ****** only has 2 genders.

Letik: just an archipelago. Very technologically advanced. Right on the equator, so as-

Pejak: not sure what it looks like. Slowly being taken over by an underground technologically advanced coltist empire.

Ruben: a molarian blessed by Fae at birth. Shy and timid rabbit hearted prophecy boy.

Wirmwud: Ruben's older cousin. New species because her mother thought a Faerie was hotter than the sun. Tall, skinny, smart and strong. Laugh sounds like a crow. Can't open her eyes more than halfway.

Garlik: Constantly squinting due to genetics and how his eyes have a mutation to look like many at once. Can astraly project himself in his sleep and enter other pe-

-ople's dreams.

Ivy: magickally phenomenal cook and can survive extreme heat in a hoodie. His sister dumped her daugher on him, and he's really good at taking care of her.

Beladona: Can manipulate paper and drawings. a little on the excitable side.
Hemlock: can unlock anything just by touching it. a detective that ironically went missing while investigating a missing person's case.

Karit: a silly goofy scientist/doctor who can fly without wings or anything
