@CLEMATIS Some species of dog have very long ears, I cannot name examples since I'm not familiar with dog species, hope that helps ^^

I figured Kuromi was a bunny since her ears are short, yet the top of her ears are pretty long, at first I thought she was a bat because of the long and pointy part, but I noticed Kuromi didn't have wings. the thing at the tip of her ears is a hint of a rabbit since the tip of rabbit's ears are quite long. (depending on the species) Some species of rabbit are known to have short ears and that's the case for Kuromi.

Also considering rabbits are a type rodent (I think) and usually destroy wires and are quite mischievous depending on the bunny's personality, considering Kuromi's personality it makes sense.
