The glowing blue lines underneath Abyss' eyes slowly disappear as he relaxes. He starts filling a little mug with water for Nebula, but he doesn't notice the silent horror behind him. And it disappears before he can see it.
Abyss: Alright Nebs, I got your...Water. Emerald you're awake.
Emerald: (trembling) M-Mm hm...
Abyss: You ok? You look like you've just seen a-
Nebula: She's fine! There's nothing wrong. Right Emerald?
Emerald: (nods)
Abyss: Oh, o-ok then.
