you probably guessed it
when crystal got infected/blasted, sonic ran up to her, despite getting the chance of infected like her, they hugged till' the end, never letting go.
their eyes full with sadness, and love, sonic never actually get the chance to confess his feelings for crystal, but its obvious, and crystal accpects it.
she faded away, to be one of 1nf3ct3d's victims, leaving sonic greiving and weak.
or will it be? stay tuned to actually see the final ending
