All of a sudden, a fist faster than she could see hits Topaz and knocks her back. When she looks up, she saw that Abyss was the one who'd landed the hit.

Topaz: What are you doing?! She's the enemy-

Abyss: No she's not!

Topaz flinched at his voice. He'd never been this loud in all the time that she knew him.

Abyss: If you touch even a SPIKE on her again, you're done. I swear you'll never see the light of day again.

Topaz backs away. Realizing Abyss was also an enemy.
