The bolt thing on his head is a springlock monitor. Green means is tight, yellow means tight is needed, red means dangerously loose!
The reason he wears long sleeves is to hide where he purposely sets off his springlocks to h4rm himself, as it is why he doesn't use his hands that much. The only ones who know about it is Mike, his wife and the missing kids.
