If you need help with names I have three that could work:
1. Sato (Based off of Ash's Japanese name.)
2. Red. (Obvious reasons)
3. Blaze (Because after a blaze, only ashes are left. Get it? Ashes?)

I can also see him having a Shiny Charizard, and it'd also be a big boy compared to Ash's Charizard.
