Tbh I'd ask him to teach and practice with you so that you feel more comfortable and familiar with picking it up and playing with it!!! Itll be something super fun and dope to do with him that you can always look back and remember :> I think that'd be nice and plus you'd get more time to play it

my brain isnt great with trusting peoples words ahah . he says it's basically "our" guitar so i can use it whenever i want,, he seems excited about teaching me stuff ig :shrug:
i picked it uo today and learned an opening to a song and messed around w it so that was pretty neat!!
