There was once a girl born of two families, Hohojiro and Ikasu. Shanghai Zurino Ikajiro, or Shang for short, was considered special, seemingly worthy of being a good luck charm if she became Emperor. But when she was two, she had to retreat from invading octarians. The octarians slaughtered her parents, but Howler Fang, her father's shark, and her fled.
