I tagged a lot of friends on here because some of you asked about Neo's scar and that pink glow :)
Hope this explanation is clear!!!

It is usually caused by extreme feelings that happen inside Neo (fear, hate, love, sadness...) The stronger the feeling, the stronger the power!

Neo got her scar when she was attacked by Lowell ( #lowellsheydet) on her way home from the police station. Lowell inflicted Neo with deep mortal wounds, but she REFUSED TO DIE: A mysterious light from her pocket watch enveloped her body, and with a burning feeling she woke up! In exchange for returning, Neo would remember nothing of her former life...

So Neo is brought into the police detective unit with a new team (Eric, Katt and Jack) and investigates her past while trying to stop the killer who haunts Somber City.

Neo doesn't know that she has powers, until one day, when she is about to lose one of her partners, (Eric, who is very close to her)
It is then that Neo, thinking Eric is gone forever, with bitter tears of grief, awakes the power within her! Her scar starts glowing with an aura of life!!!

"Turn back time AND SNATCH FROM DEATH WHAT STILL BELONGS TO LIFE!"

After these words, Neo manages to bring Eric back to life!
What happened!? What was that!??? Everyone is surprised and shocked!!

Neo has many more things to do yet!!!

YES. Are they like dancing?? I LOVE DANCE SCENES AND LIKE, love. Oh I love it when couples or members of a ship do some ball room dance. *chefs kiss* Mabey its because I've taken brief dance classes, the elderly couples and single people are always so sweet and madly in love, i think theres a reason for that you know?
I've been working on a project (a drawing on here) of two of my characters dancing to 'dance with me' by Michael Bulton. one of my favorite dances is the cha cha i believe. :duck

Every time I see this painting, it truly reminds me just how much time and effort and love you've put into these OCs. They're more than just a cute couple: they have violent, awkward beginnngs, betrayal, heartbreak, and (most importantly) love for each other, whether that's Neo and Eric's cuteness, Jack and Katt's hilarious friendship or Aiden and the little girl's bond.

It’s been a couple of years since I first uploaded this drawing and my style has changed so much since then (maybe I should redraw it in my current style and fix all the little mistakes I see now).

There is a thought that has been haunting me the last months... Its the fact that I have less and less time to write the novel and work on the sprites, and sometimes I’m scared that I’ll never actually bring my project to life. It’s a fear that’s always there in the back of my mind, and it hurts my heart a lot.

But then you show up with your genuine support and willpower... you light up my path again and put me back on track!!! <3

These aren’t just silly characters to me; they’re personifications of deep feelings like loneliness, loyalty, defeat, justice… they mean so much to me because they were born in very difficult moments of my life and come from real experiences and memories.
