Then Shadow is shown a vision of the worst day of his life. The day he lost Maria. He could do nothing but stare as this terrible memory repeated itself, but it felt so lifelike to Shadow, like it WAS actually happening all over again.

But when he snapped back to reality he was crumpled down to the ground with a crowd of people around him, tears streaming from his eyes, and Gemini had disappeared. Nowhere to be seen Shadow ran off, shoving through the crowd then teleporting away.
