Sulfates in shampoo can contribute to frizz, washing hair with warm/hot water can further contribute to frizz because it opens up the hair folicals

baby shampoo is great for dry hair

If you have dry long hair try to only wash the scalp with shampoo and use conditioner for the ends and middle, the middle bit of the hair doesn't usually need much, natural oils are hard to reach the middle and ends so washing them as much as your scalp can be bad
