i left the room bc i felt so so very uncomfortable and not saf i rlly hated that church.
everyone was all southern and while that's not an issue in and of itself, they were like stereotypical gayphobic, hateful, banjo playing, hunting season southern and i just :[

for context, people from our old church moved to a different city and it's like a smaller town in a more woodsy area.
my mom's friends were the people that moved so she wants to move too bc she follows them everywhere like a lost puppy and doesn't have any OTHER friends.
(she doesn't care that she'd be taking the rest of her family away from their family and friends)
if we ended up moving there, we'd go to that church and that thought alone makes it like hard to breathe and i wanna cry
