It actually feels a little weird to still be here as an adult. Pretty much all my friends I met on here as a kid moved on to other places on the internet, and I'm happy to still be in touch with a lot of them. Nowadays there's a whole new generation of teenagers having drama with each other, and boy oh boy do I not wanna get involved with children on here. This place now is a place where I can post my art and disappear until I have something else to share, whenever that is. My days on here as a teenager were definitely formative, I got to express myself through art without embarrassing myself in front of my family like I was on Facebook beforehand, and I made a lot of friends and even met my current girlfriend thanks to Colors. (don't worry, she's also an adult)
I have always said I'll never *leave* Colors, and planned on this account being closed or deleted when Colors itself is. That is still true, but after 10 years, I think semi-retirement makes sense. I don't plan on having a final post, I'm gonna share anything I make on here that I find worth sharing. I'm just not gonna feel guilty if I go a month, a year, or whatever without posting.
Anyway, I'm tired of rambling. Y'all Colors kids have fun. I'm allowed to sound old because in Colors years 23 is like, 72. Got some Background Boys sketched out, just gotta actually finish them, so keep your ear to the ground.
