1.i took many online fanart drawings of link
2. i try to copy what i liked about him, but not in my style, like tracing but not actually tracing
3. i did dat w each every drawing (there was like 8 of them)
4. i drew them n worked them into my style
5. i changed my style more to look better
dats w drawings only
another way is searching how to do a______study
i did a hair n coloring study too

n dat after dis study my art looks more bright n ig more readable

I'd say you stopped using black, or such colors, as well as the air brush to do your shading.

It really has improved.
