I think it looks alright. There's nothing wrong with a simple background. And the details are well enough. Sometimes we can be our own worst critics.

i really didn't enjoy drawing this, and i've found that's the case alot as of recent...
i'm just going to put the 20 requests i have to finish off until i can force myself to draw again..

Taking breaks from drawing is a good thing, it helps get rid of art block.

Okay. Enjoy your break. Don't try to force inspiration. It'll come on its own. But if you do enjoy drawing/painting, take some time to think about what your next project will be. Take inspiration from art that inspires you, then when you're ready, act on that motive. : )
