religious parents are worse than normal strict parents sometimes
mine would not allow my siblings and i to watch or consum any media w/ lgbt characters even if they were side/background ppl, nothing that was pro choice, or could depict god in a negative light lol
plus we were never clearly educated on lgbt struggles (which is ironic bcs im trans despite having been sheltered, so clearly it doesnt work lol)
