can someone please tell me why i decided that playing a game that i have not touched in almost 3 years due to very bad memories associated with it would be a great thing to do?
i assumed that since i can watch streams of the game, and own enough merch from the game that i see things related to it on a daily basis, i would be totally fine to you know, play it.
boy was i wrong :skull: everything had been going great until, i saw a certain character, then it all went downhill fast.

once seeing that a teammate of mine (bet nobody is gonna guess the game but it is multiplayer lmao) had picked the character i wasnt too upset, because no way they'll actually be good at him, right? ..right? hahhaa wrong. they mained him. i was screwed. now, if i had just left the game and played smite, like a normal person, i wouldve been fine, but noooo i had to finish the game to prove my brain wrong. long story short i had a panic attack over a game character, yay me :thumbsup:

the chances of me finding someone who actually mained him, in 2023, is so low since his playstyle isnt meta (gamer riven era), but i was in quick play and not ranked so nobody cares about meta

@Nyghtmareish i was veryyyyyy into overwatch a few years ago, like i was decently high ranked in competitive and played like 30 hours as my main, but then i quit over a person lolololol, but i shall become a overwatch gamer again :thumbsup:

Something that makes any fictional character endearing if our ability to associate with them. That is normal. And that is what the writers usually intend.

Probably not panic attacks. But, "man, I hope people can feel some of what she feels and feel empathy towards her" As for multiplayer games, in general, I am too busy dying to ever learn about the characters.
