Hey, I was wondering, why is Toru red instead of either blue or black? Is it so people can easily tell him apart from Hiro? What's the story?

A couple of things...
1. I think it makes him stand out more.
2. His red color is based both on the ninja mythology of seeing a red ninja coming at them looking strikingly scary. Basically looking like they are soaked in their victim's blood (though his personality is the complete opposite of what the color represents in ninja mythology).
3. It's based on the alternate color scheme in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
4. I treat the unusual color like some special kind of shiny.
