That's it? As a kid, if I wasn't performing up to their standard in behavior, school, and housework then all entertainment was taken from me. Anything that used electricity (except a lamp,) gone. Literature (be it picture books, Lord of the Rings, strategy guides for games, random magazines, a notebook of my own drawings, even a history book.... if it wasn't a school textbook,) gone. I would not be allowed to go outside (the home or my room) in case I'd be able to see a few minutes of TV while ~

~ walking by. The only time I'd be allowed to leave my room is if I did chores. I would not be allowed to eat any food other than the family meals (they definitely did NOT starve me, but I could not eat for pleasure) And I was only allowed a certain amount of shower time ( PLENTY of time to get clean, but I couldn't spend all day in there doing whatever) And that is all if I failed to perform to their standards. (Like if I got anything less than a B in school, I failed) If I actually screwed up~
