ive kinda got this,,,, squick? its not exactly a full-blown phobia but its smth that def bothers me a bunch lmao
basically: Long Nails. whether its fake nails or real nails or like stereotypical claw-like nails u may see in fantasy, that stuff makes me SO uncomfortable, i just get rlly tense n kinda anxious seeing long fingernails and like, i can tolerate seeing them if i HAVE to in cartoons (still bugs me, even if its a very simple style) but if i see it on a real person's hand i can barely--

even on my own hand my nails bug me, i routinely keep them very short (they grow fast so i trim them a lot),,,,, and like. this isnt something ive always had as i used to let my nails grow rather long when i was younger but idk over the past few years its developed, i think its bc of smth freaky my thumbnail did once when i was tryna open smth :sob:
but yea they just look freaky and i think its in part a reason i almost never draw even short nails on my character's hands, like. ever
is this even a real phobia or am i just weird :sob: i tried googling it once and found nothing

I dunno if its common thing, but i relate, so your not the only one. It just, i dunno whats the right words to phrase it all, but i hate seeing them, it makes me feel Anxious as well :sweat_smile:
