Eld had a sister. Yes, a sister. She was always the star of the show, and would do anything to keep it that way. Whenever Eld would achieve something, her sister would punish her, like covering Eld's face in a pillow while she slept, laughing as she struggled.
At some point, her parents ignored her as if she didn't exist. They never fed her, or gave her any basic needs. Eld felt useless, and fell into a deep depression.
