Misteye used to be able to see when he was an apprentice, then on a solo patrol one night, he met Aldersight, Alderpaw at the time. She was drowning so he saved her and the 2 fell in love. Eventually Aldersight's older brother, Hawkstar, found out and scarred Mistpaw's right eye, blinding it. And ever since then, he's only been able to see Aldersight at Gatherings, and even still, Hawkstar keeps him away, not letting Misteye speak to her.
