yes i swear my battery used to last so much longer

batteries tend to lose charge faster the older they are and/or if they start swelling, my old 2ds battery started losing charge rlly fast (around an hour) n got swollen and i have a friend who's 3ds battery would die in like less than five minutes it got so old. this happens with almost all electronics that use batteries

SO, if ur comfortable enough to do it urself, i'd take off the back (requires a specific screwdriver iirc) n check if ur battery has swelled, and if it has i'd replace it sooner rather than later!! and if u dont wanna do it urself im sure u could find someone else to do it!

also like @/bodybutters said, turning down the brightness can make the charge last longer overall :] still worth it to check ur battery tho, especially if its had a sudden sharp decline recently then ur battery may be a bit faulty
