I was just thinking about Togekiss the other day. It's one of my favorite Pokemon, but I don't like it as much as Togetic... I was wondering why that is. And I think it's because it looks less like an animal and more like an object... I mean, where's its joints? If it's gotta turn its head, it's gotta turn its whole body around, and that's pretty inconvenient. Sorry for the rambling, lol.

@Mewsea But a lot of pokemon suffer from the joint problem, I mean pretty much every orbular mon and some others like bastiodon, and meltan would share the same issues. I always thought Togekiss looked kinda like an angel and based on its dex entries I really do think that's what it's suppose to be. I'm honestly so glad it is what it is and it isn't some generic looking chicken or something.

That said, I like togetic more too tbh, it's just I was rewatching one of the old episodes of the diamond and pearl anime and was reminded how much I loved Dawn's Togekiss so I wanted to draw it

@SaltineCracker Yup, that's why I don't like Pokemon like Bastiodon either. It's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just not my thing. If you think about it, there's a few real-life animals that lack certain joint muscles too. Aligators and crocodiles aren't very flexible with their necks. I'm sure there's others too... But Togekiss isn't either one of those, so I think that's why it makes less sense to me. Still...it has a cute face, at least.

@Mewsea Yeah there are alot of no neck mons I really like now that I think about it (Togedemaru, Gengar, Skiploom, Jigglypuff, etc) I think It works well for some more than others and like you said it does make sense for crocs (I guess thats why we got our first no neck starter Fuecoco, hes honestly not one of my favs even if it does make sense.) I mean, you don't know it could be the dead angelic spirit of a croc, lol 'v'
