I'm just going to copy and paste a description that best fits my take on it, I hope this will answer things for you:
Demiromantic people can feel sexual attraction to others, but they only experience romantic feelings for people with whom they have a deep connection, which might take years to develop.
On the other hand, demisexual people can develop romantic feelings for others, but they only experience sexual attraction with deeply connected partners.
And its possible to experience both!
