my first idea is too make nightmare a ghost, and haunt ink. but then ink gets (sensitive topics!! big no no here) and trys to (****) himself

but then he is revived or smth and now he can see nightares ghost

Nightmare is a recently-deceased ghost, wandering the streets of his old city and trying to remember how he died when he meets Ink. The artist can see, hear, and talk to ghosts. Together they try to find a way to bring Nightmare back to life

I want ink to have a near death experience, THEN be able to see ghosts, finding out nightmare is haunting him and thats why his guilt of letting nightmare die didnt subside!
