Years of practice is right, but the new layer lock feature helped a lot! I used it, and the duplicate layer + select & move to make the foil effect.
This was sort of a test run of the new features, honestly!

So basically, The layer mod allows you to shade or change color or yk, shade the certain layer thats already colored, with the layer lock.

So, the layer lock makes it to where you can only draw on what you've already drawn onto the layer. It can be used to change the color of line art, with out using the bucket tool.
This also means that locking the layer while it has nothing on it makes it useless until you remove the lock.

I've been drawing since I can remember. Aside from gaming, it's always been my main way to spend my free time. So, I've been drawing my whole life, so to speak.

You can get them at gamestop or bookstores. Some grocery stores have them too.
